A Choice, a dream, a life.

During my NYSC i share a place with 1 of my male posse. it was fun. we had a lot of trips. but we also had a lot of talk. The 1 that most fascinate me is the fact that love is a choice.
That is everyone can and does chooses to love someone unconditionally.
One might assume that love is that warmy feeling inside yoyu get when you here his/her voice, or the was your heart trip n works overtime when you see him/her but the fact is there was a time you didnt know this person or even if you did he/she didnt mean ass much to you as they did then. whay happened u say?
wellit simple. You decided to block/overlook/accept all his/her and love the person cause you belive that he/she is the one for you. and God knows no one in the world can make you see other wise.
Also.. the factthat such a person can mean so much to you is rather terrifying. cause the said person has the power to make or break you for the duration of the relationship. Funny yeah?
Ah God wasnt kidding he he said it isnt good for a maan to be alone. cause seriously we all need somebody. we all crave a special spme1 in our lives to have and to hold to share life with. to make a family with to share dreams with. if we didnt have such a person in our life i'd like to know what the point is? Whats the point. off getting a job?, getting a degree, earning money, buying a new car, travelling the world. if theres no1 to share it with its just a waste isnt it/

Changes

Funny how things change so much so fast isn’t it?

Yesterday I was @ a grocery store tryna get myself something to drink. As I was walking down the aisle I saw a lot of drinks that would have meant a lot to me in my secondary years…

For you too I’m sure. There was Juicee, Just Juice, Ribena, Lucozade and so much more…

I recalled the times when id beg mummy and daddy to “buy me ribena” lol. Men those times are gone.

Just the day before Ony and I were like we cant wait for the time when we’d be stocking our fridge’s with drinks. Drinks like Smirnoff ice and Gordon sparks cocktails and mocktails, magaritas, and daiquiri, tequilas and sangrias. Have a cellar full of white and red wines(Of course). And a bar filled wit whiskey and gin, and bourbon and the likes.No beers tho… we just too classy. lol What a change in drinks Yeah?

More to this when we were young we were most concerned with Power rangers ? Right what are you most concerned about? Making that cash right?

Well of course. Making that cash, then spending it. Making more then spending it again.

Like Shania Twain said in her song Kaching… “we live in a greedy little world…..earn as much as we could possibly then turn around and spend it (foolishly) when we get bored during the weekend.”

Hey but you only live once and u cant take what you earn to the other side you know.
